Sea Gate JNL

Sea Gate JNL is a hybrid font creation based in part on a 1930s-era WPA Works Progress Administration poster and the addition of slab serifs as well as a few modifications to some of the characters in the original design.The typeface is available in both regular and oblique versions.

Poster Slabserif JNL

.Based on one of the many hand lettered typefaces found with in the 1960 edition of Sam Welo's Studio Handbook for Artists and Advertisers, Poster Slabserif JNL is available in both regular and oblique versions.

The movie trailer for the film had the title hand lettered in a playful and casual slab serif style, with varying character shapes and weights.

A perfect example of this is Frank Capra's Arsenic and Old Lace from 1942. Cary Grant was one of Hollywood's most versatile actors, playing romantic leads, dramatic parts and showing off his impeccable timing in screwball comedies.

General Merchandise JNL

. Antique X Condensed is a condensed slab serif font found with the pages of a Rob Roy Kelly book of wood type designs.It was introduced around 1840 by Wells and Webb, and the example served as the model for General Merchandise JNL, which is available in both regular and oblique versions.
